As we move from March to April, and hopefully from Winter into Spring, the week has seen Beautiful Perth making some significant changes.
At the Riverside Park you may notice new welcoming signs at the entrance to the car park and on the path leading down to the heathers. Hopefully soon we will have our Green Flags displayed again the brighten up the entrance.
At Rodney Gardens, after the slog of clearing out overgrown and weed strewn planting, the ground was enhanced with lots of compost. Now the more enjoyable task of planting has begun under the guidance of our horticultural expert Alistair. The intention is to follow the original planting scheme for the gardens as we have obtained a copy of the plans used at that time. So watch this space as we'll keep you updated - or better still come and see for yourself or come and join our wonderful volunteers.
At the junction of Barrack St/Caledonian Rd, we have started to process of regenerating the flower bed. Regrettably it did not receive attention last year so this is going to be another challenge.
