Our Details

Beautiful Perth is a registered Scottish charity, first set up in 1989 and run entirely by volunteers. Our charity number is SC032395, and we are registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).

We work to help make Perth a beautiful place to live, work and visit. Our activities include ‘in bloom’ horticultural projects, anti-litter campaigns, local clean-ups and other environmental projects across the city.

We work closely with local groups, organisations and volunteers to deliver projects that benefit the Perth community.

Our funding comes from grants for specific projects, sponsorship from local businesses, support from Perth & Kinross Council, donations and fundraising activities.

Because all of our work is carried out by volunteers, we do not employ any staff. That said we have been grateful for the support of a number of organisations who have funded two consultant trainers who allow us to provide hands on training to young people. All our funds are used to support our charitable aims and community projects.

Our annual accounts are independently audited and submitted to OSCR for review.

Beautiful Perth is managed by a formally constituted committee of volunteer Trustees, who give their time freely. We are also grateful to Perth & Kinross Council for the invaluable support it provides to the committee.
