Sponsors & Supporters Event

We were delighted to welcome our sponsors and supporters to an event at Riverside Park, where we also officially opened the new Butterfly & Moth Garden in the Rodney Gardens. Helping us mark the occasion was Geoff Ballinger from the East of Scotland branch of Butterfly Conservation, joined by Verity, our friendly Flutterby.

Guests were then invited on tours of the Rodney Gardens, Compassionate Friends Garden, Heather Collection, giving us the chance to showcase the work their support has made possible and to highlight the major projects currently under way. They also had the opportunity to meet members of the local Apiarists group who came along with a display and other information about the importance of these insects.

The event concluded with time to relax and have a chat over a light lunch on the lawn.
