Taking Part in the Spring Clean Scotland Campaign

Eleven of our wonderful volunteers took part in the Keep Scotland Beautiful campaign entitled Spring Clean Scotland.

We spent a relatively short period of time at the very busy Broxden Park and Ride interchange on the outskirts of Perth yet managed to collect 16 bags of rubbish. A lot of the rubbish was gathered from the shrubs surrounding the site where it had undoubetly collected following periods of strong wind. 

It is to be hoped that by making the area look clean and tidy, this will inspire users to be more careful and ensure they place their waste in the litter bins and bottle banks provided.
