Training Our Volunteers

Our wonderful volunteers at Beautiful Perth are going to be busy at our polytunnel at the Westbank Nursery which was provided with the support of Perth & Kinross Council, Community Greenspace.  Alistair, our horticultural trainer, will be running training sessions on taking cuttings, seed sowing, splitting & dividing plants and potting up.  These sessions are welcomed by our volunteers and will help build our skill base. 

All the plants produced will be used in the floral displays we maintain throughout Perth, particularly in the two major refurbishment projects being spearheaded by ‘Beautiful Perth’ volunteers at Needless Road and the Rodney Gardens.
