The judges from Britain in Bloom 2018 visited Perth on 9 August. Our volunteers showed them around the City so they could see the work done by our volunteers, partners and the people of Perth to make this a beautiful place to live, work and visit. Read more on our News pages here.
Along the way we met some very interesting characters for example, our ace litter pickers, the 10th Perthshire Beaver scouts with our giant bee and walking cup, some busy bees, the Fair Maid of Perth outside her house, a WWI Black Watch soldier and Land Army Girl at Perth Station Community Garden, a big fluffy dog, a (real!) hoodie crow who perched on a sign to watch us on the North Inch, and an excellent piper. What a great day!
