Beautiful Perth is a registered Scottish charity, run by volunteers. We've been active for more than 20 years, helping make Perth a lovely place to live, work and visit.
We used to be called 'Perth in Bloom' because we're closely involved in producing the many floral displays that adorn Perth every summer. We're still very active on the 'in Bloom' front but we changed our name to 'Beautiful Perth' in 2007 to reflect the fact that horticulture is just one part of what we do. We carry out litter picks and tidy-ups, and we help with environmental projects, increasingly alongside local businesses and residents anxious to keep their neighbourhood looking good. A number of affliated, local action groups have been set up and we'd be delighted to hear from other volunteers or groups who want to join us. It's productive, rewarding and fun!
We run 'Beautiful Perth' Awards every summer, with categories for horticultural, community and environmental excellence. We also enter Perth into national competitions like 'Beautiful Scotland' and hope to continue Perth's proud tradition of winning Awards for being so fair a City.
As a charity, we depend on the generous support of our volunteers, partners like Perth & Kinross Council, and on sponsors who help fund our work. If you're interested in getting involved, please click here.
